Clarence Gallagher has been playing and singing since he can remember. He left home with a guitar on his back and traveled most of the country before he was nineteen. After landing in New Orleans he played on the streets and in bars for several years before moving to the mountains of North Carolina and continuing to play music there. Now residing in Curlew Washington, Clarence finds new ways of reshaping old time music today, taking his listeners back in time with vintage tunes from nearly a century ago, resonator guitar puts out an old timey sound, authenticated by his voice and foot stomp percussion.

Dani Bacon, is a singer songwriter with an Americana sound that originates from her life long love of music. Her songs are bits and pieces of her life, dreams, trials, love, hardships, family and more. “I don’t just love playing music, I need it. It makes me happy and keeps me sane. And it fills a part of my soul that nothing else can,” the musician says. Dani started playing and writing music after a hard loss. “I needed some way to let out the pain and writing music let me do just that,” she goes on to say. Along with being a mother of two boys and a wife, she continues to write songs and play any chance she gets.

For the past 25 years, Jason Boland & the Stragglers have dazzled audiences all over as one of the leading ambassadors of the Oklahoma and Texas music movement. Millions of fans cheering him on, over 500,000 records sold independently and 10 albums later, Boland is a career musician whose legacy continues to grow. From his early days touring in cramped vans and playing in front of tiny bar crowds to the packed venues he performs in today, Boland’s uncompromising approach has grown his profile dramatically, especially in the past handful of years. Add to that the legions of musicians who are influenced by Boland, and his impact on the scene is undeniable.

“Jason is one of my dearest friends and, in my opinion, one of the smartest and coolest dudes I know. He was the first person to ask me to produce their record and many years ago we had a great time making Dark and Dirty Mile. So it was natural for me to be more than excited to be asked to produce The Light Saw Me.” says producer Shooter Jennings, “This album isn’t just another album from Jason & The Stragglers. It’s a magnum opus of the highest creative order, which in turn I take as a very serious honor to be able to be a part of its inception.”

While the music remains true to the roots of Boland and the Stragglers’ Red Dirt background, it’s as tight as anything he’s ever done. On top of the message and intricate instrumentation, the bold storyline will please longtime fans and undoubtedly serve as a gateway album to the rest of his massive discography.

For most of his career, the only thing you could expect from Boland is to do the unexpected. On what’s now his 10th studio album, he not only does that, but he did it in his own organic and authentic way. He’s making the music he wants while continuing to please the people who want to hear where his artistic journey takes him next. With a catalog like his, that’s no easy feat.

“Ellis Bullard is the epitome of a True-Blue Honky Tonk experience, shaped by years of hard living and touring across America.
— Feels So Good Records

Hailing from the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, Ellis Bullard and his band of seasoned Austin A-listers have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Texas Country and Americana, including Randy Rogers, Reckless Kelly, and Cody Johnson. Their debut record, “Piss-Hot Freightlining Country Music,” caught the attention of none other than Joe Rogan, who couldn’t help but praise Bullard’s fiery performance at the legendary White Horse.

While Ellis Bullard draws inspiration from classic country legends like Merle Haggard and Jerry Reed, his music also channels the spirit of Mo Bandy and Joe Stampley collaborations. The result is a refreshing blend of classic and subtle outlaw country vibes.

Five albums into an acclaimed career, Sam Morrow has carved out a sound that exists somewhere outside of genre and geography. It's his own version of modern-day American roots music: a mix of roadhouse rock & roll, bluesy R&B, and country-fried funky-tonk, driven forward by groove, grease, and guitars.

It's also a sound that owes as much to the road — where Morrow spent most of the past decade on tour, supporting albums like Concrete & Mud and Gettin' By On Gettin' Down — as the various places he's called home. This is music for the fast lane. Music for empty highways. Music for people who, like Morrow, always seem to find themselves in transit.

Kendl Winter & Palmer T. Lee, both playing guitar and banjo and trading vocals; hers an achingly beautiful distinctive tone that complements his smoky delivery to perfection.
— David Allen, Americana UK

During the spring and summer of 2020, The Lowest Pair (Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee) found themselves camping and sharing songs around the fire with two dear friends and incredible musicians Adam Roszkiewicz and Leif Karlstrom of the instrumental duo Small Town Therapy. Founding members of the progressive string band Front Country, multi-instrumentalists Adam and Leif bring a new dynamic palette of colors to Kendl and Palmer’s own instrumental prowess and expressive lyricism.

After sharing a handful of new songs and tunes, (and making immediate fans in the campground) there was no doubt that a record was in the future, and In August of 2020 they spent a week out in Enterprise, Oregon recording at the OK Theater.

The new record “Horse Camp” leans towards each member’s string band roots and showcases brand new Lowest Pair songs Kendl and Palmer wrote during the strange times of the pandemic. The album also includes an instrumental by each musician involved. It’s an awesome display of how a simple collaboration of friends can result in music that is as organic as it is undeniable.

Washington Pint Days 2024

  • Republic Brewing Company (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Guess what’s back? Pint Days’ back! All you have to do is go to your favorite brewery (hint hint: it’s RBC), drink beer, and bring home a sweet lil pint glass! Your friends will be jealous and you’ll be the envy of your neighborhood. Once the glasses are gone, they’re gone. FOAM-O anyone?!

Limited edition glasses are exclusively available at participating breweries. (List below.) This year we feature a 16 oz. Willi Becher pint with art by Blindtiger Design, a local creative, strategy, and marketing agency specializing in the unique needs of the craft beverage industry. Blindtiger Design is a creative partner for many of the brewery brands you recognize.

The goals of WA Pint Days are to encourage beer enthusiasts (that’s you) to get out and visit Washington craft brewery taprooms, and raise money to support our Guild. All great reasons to leave hibernation 😉

In partnership with WA Brewers Guild member breweries and Grandstand, $1 from every glass will be donated to the WBG. WA Brewers Guild, is a grassroots organization that fosters a sense of community among the state’s breweries and also does the increasingly critical work of representing the brewing industry’s interest in Olympia.
